Brake job

I have a '96 Jetta GLX, and just ordered some front slotted rotors and front
and rear Mintex brake pads for my car.  I have done plenty of brake jobs on
other cars, but never my car - and never ABS for that matter.  Does the ABS
cause any complications that I don't want to deal with, or is the Jetta's
brakes hard to change as it is.  I would like to save the money to get
someone else to do it, but I don't want to mess anything up.  Has anyone
changed their own pads and/or rotors on theirs?  Any suggestion would be
appreciated.
