Yeah, but you're looking at good-will here.  I think it's the "Right Thing To Do",
caps intentional.

I think by paying for this, Chris is going to sustain the godwill with
Donaldson's, which is important to him.  It sorta make it more possible that
Donaldson's WILL sponsor an event next time.  If he told them to take a flying
leap, even politely, with all the logic in the world on his side, it would only
make them ay "Bunch of Jerks.  We're never helping anyone again".  At least this
way, Donaldson's is going to be less certain to turn down any future proposition.

BY the way, why the hell am i defending Chris?  :)
