Re: sluggish V6/ gas guzzling

I dunno... My GLX is stock and I feel it accelerates very quickly
and smoothly. My gas mileage is nice for a 6-cylinder engine.

What are you expecting? Sub 5 second runs? And 40 mpg?

My vehicle has been consistently getting 29-31 mpg highway.
That is driving with 93 octane and keeping highway speeds
around 70-80 mph. During everyday driving (city + highway),
I usually get between 25-26 mpg. I really don't think that is
terrible at all.

Just keep in mind your VR6 really starts pulling after 4000 rpms.

BTW, what kind of gas mileage are you experiencing?
You may really have a problem...
