I agree.  Even the crappiest snow tires are better than all season tires
for snow.  I have no-name 'Snow King' snow tires on my Jetta and they
rock. We just drove the car through 100 miles of nasty snow storms on
I-15 through Idaho and Montana a couple weeks ago and I was SO happy I
bought the snows.  I have Toyo Proxes FZ4 on my Scirocco and was happy
with them until I had to drive in snow.  Not fun.  No comparison
compared to snow tires.
