1.  No, the doors are not the same dimensions.  GTI doors are longer.  I
am positive that all the four door cars are the same...  which is what
you were asking.  As far as the black moulding off of the old car (all
94s and some 95s had the black moulding), it is not the same as the euro
molding...  the Euro molding is wider.  I would get all of it, the flares
and the moulding, and get it painted to match the car...  anything is
paintable, just remember, unless you want it textured, it will need to be
sanded smooth.

2. Real easy to install.  Just push the old ones out from the inside, and
the new ones snap in from the outside.

3.  Heard good things about the whipple mount.  As far as I know, no
special tools are needed.  I don't have one, lazy I guess...  but would
like one.

4.  There are six small allen (6pt. hex) head screws on the edges of the
door panel.  2 on each side, and two on the bottom.  Loosen these(they
don't come all the way off)  There is also a screw under the door pull.
Pretty sure that the top half of the pull pops off, revealing the screw.
It comes all the way out.  The panel should be loose now, just work it
around the lever, and it comes right off.  There is plastic covering the
guts of the door.  It is supposed to prevent water from getting in the
car.  I took mine off on my GL, and never had problems with water.  If I
did it again, I would put it back on...  just to be safe.
