Are you sure that these will fit a GTI or GLX?  (assuming that's what you're
putting them on).  IIRC, the fenders are slightly different because the
rocker panels of the Cabrio are larger and extend further forward than on
G/J's, and the rear lower edges of the Cabrio fenders are shorter
(vertically) to accommodate this.  On the GTI and GLX, this part of the
fender is under the rocker moulding, and helps support it.  It might be
easier to see what I'm talking about by looking at a regular Golf or Jetta
and comparing it to a Cabrio.

Also, didn't somebody just find out the hard way that the newer cars have
some sort of emissions equipment behind the RF fender that sits right where
the light would go? (assuming you want these fenders to put the lights on
your car)
