Do they have a web site or a phone number, for information?  I am going to
have to make a decision soon regarding warranty service,  I want to have one
in place before the original is over.  Thanks

No I did not find out.  By the way, the VW dealer recommends a company
called
MAP (Motorist Assistance Plan).  It is the only plan I have found that
appears
to be confirmed as reliable and trustworthy.  Their pricing is very high
however.
