I am a mechanical engineer who spends plenty of time fixing this and
mending that, but I bought my Jetta because it came with the 100,000
mile warrantee, and if something is gonna break, I want them to fix it. 
It's my first new car, and I don't want to have to touch a thing on it. 
I paid my money up front for them to fix it, and if they need to order
something new, or keep it for part of the day, so be it.  I'd rather
have a new part from the manufacturer in there, then some part I rigged
up to keep something working.  I would imagine that's the same way other
people feel, and that's why we're not diving in there and getting our
hands dirty.  Agree/Disagree?
