If it's a musty odor, you might try turning off the A/C a minute or so
before you arrive at your destination. This allows some fresh air to
flow through the system and seems to dry things out or something. 

Or, maybe your windshield wiper fluid is leaking. One might say that its
smell is similar to an electrical short/fire. Why does this fluid smell
so bad?
