Re: DAmmit

Actually I had just filled with 92octane. I agree as well to what Adam says, "I would also like to add that I don't race during heavy traffic or weave lanes." Its not safe or CONSIDERATE to the other drivers. The Pikes traffic last night was very light. This allowed us smooth lane transitions.

So the Garret chip REQUIRES Premium fuel?

The previous versions to 10 can be upgraded for around $25. Now does this require chip replacement, or is there some software that can do the upgrade. The reason I ask, is if anyone has an older chip version (.06-.08) that they would like to part with, due to the upgrade..... I'd be interested....... Thanks

Now the speedo does not automatically adjust itself to tire size, so if you're running larger tires will the speedo register higher speeds. I'm thinking it would actually record lower speeds.

As far as protection goes: I have a Whistler XXX... Oh man it was going off the whole way. I think the Passats was talking with mine...... I don't even want to think about the HEFTY fine in Mass.....The math on that gives me a headache....( There is a $50 base for the 1st ten miles over, then $10 a mile every additional one)
$50+(75*10)=$800+ (reckless driving fine) +(passing in the right lane=$100)+ misc...= BIG BUCKS!!!!!!! Retrospect = Not worth it........
