Actually I had just filled with 92octane. I agree as well to what Adam says, "I would also like to add that I don't race during heavy traffic or weave lanes." Its not safe or CONSIDERATE to the other drivers. The Pikes traffic last night was very light. This allowed us smooth lane transitions.

So the Garret chip REQUIRES Premium fuel?

The previous versions to 10 can be upgraded for around $25. Now does this require chip replacement, or is there some software that can do the upgrade. The reason I ask, is if anyone has an older chip version (.06-.08) that they would like to part with, due to the upgrade..... I'd be interested....... Thanks

The whole point of paying $25 for an upgrade is that you're not supposed to use the old chip... recently, Garrett has been require return of the old chip to get the new one for cheap. Anyone who DOES have an older chip because an upgrade and who decides to SELL it is technically stealing.

Now the speedo does not automatically adjust itself to tire size, so if you're running larger tires will the speedo register higher speeds. I'm thinking it would actually record lower speeds.

The size of the tires means nothing if the overall tire + wheel size is the same. Sure you may have gotten bigger wheels, but your sidewalls are probably a lot smaller.
