All the mags. put the top speed at under 130 -- is this just VW not wanting to publicize how fast the car can really go? Also, with H-rated tires on a car that can top 140, isn't VW really opening themselves up to potential lawsuits?

On the Wantagh Pkwy here on Long Island I reached 144mph before I ran out of
road. I think I could have gotten a few more mph out of her because the needle
was moving slowly but surely at that point.
