Re: DAmmit
I had it @ 123mph.
Before I dropped it or Air Box mod.
I have to add a comment here.
I love to drive fast. I am addicted to it and with my dad being a COP I have
even a better reason to speed. Now I know that when I speed I endanger the
lives of all those on the road with me, however I never really will push my
car past 80 or 90 with passangers. I feel that they are 1) too much of a
distraction and 2) if I crash and kill myself, well that was my choice, but
killing 5 of my own friends.
I would also like to add that I don't race during heavy traffic or weave
lanes.

Oh well the time has come. The stock GLX is no longer an option. The
Garret
chip should be on its way soon enough. Last night, once again on the
Mass
Pike this 3-eyed Passat (2 yellow neon fogs 1 headlight) passed me
at about
90+....That was enough to say, "Ok lets go." We were cruising at
about 120,
when I decided to make my move in the right lane. Accelerating to
about
130, the car starting missing or something. I slowed to about 125ish
and
there goes the Passat....Whhoooshhh..... He was probably pushing
130+.
DAMMIT. He slowed a little so I could catch up we then cruised @
125ish for
about 10 miles. Complete thumbs UP the whole way. His car was packed
with
like 5 people too. It looked like maybe a 96-97 Passat VR6 red with
CT.
plates. NICE RIDE. To say the least, we covered 32 miles in about 15
minutes. Not bad. Now with the installation of the chip, will this
increase
the top end speed? And whats the extent of installation, is it a 5
min job
or hours? I still have the site for install
(http://members.iquest.net/~chrphill/index.html). It looks like it
can be
done within an hour, but realistically?
Thanks for the insight....
