RE: spark plug tool

Acutally mine broke cause I used it when the engine was warm $16 from the
dealer.. Now with engine cold I removed them all no problems.. It's hot and
warps that plastic..

Subject: spark plug tool

I started to change the spark plugs today. I made it through one plug
before the VW supplied tool broke. Before you make fun of my ham-fisted
efforts, I noticed the wire had a bit of corrosion on it and this is
probably why it is so tough to remove.

Before I go and buy it, does anyone have an alternative suggestion to
spending about $60 for the metal one?

I could buy another plastic one-but I know it will break before I am
done. Looking to see if there is a better, but less expensive alternative.

Thanks,
