Oil Change intervals (WAS 30,000 mile service?)

What's funny is I always thought my '98 only specified 10k intervals after
10k miles for oil changes, but my dealer currently has me coming in every
5k miles for an oil change (ie. he has me currently scheduled to come in
at 15k!).  So I guess that is really cool...  :)
