ECU/VAG stuff...

Maybe Don can answer this question.

I'm not afraid to admit I've red-lined my car before. My
car is still completely stock but I have driven my car against
other vehicles to see what my car is capable of. My last
visit to the dealer (10k service) caught me by surprise when
my dealer told me I red-lined my car and that it would have
voided my warranty if I had engine problems at the time due
to engine abuse. I only red-lined it once by accident when
accelerating but they caught it on the VAG (I guess that is
the tool you use to read the ECU - right?).
I was thinking to myself "There goes big-brother again,
watching my every move".
Anyways, I was driving 270 miles last weekend coming
home from Virginia Tech when this Nissan 300ZXTT
came up behind me on the highway and wanted to mess
with me. I thought in the back of my head that this car
will eat me alive!!!, but I figured why not play when I get
the opportunity. We were driving about 70 MPH and I
shifted to 3rd gear and stomped on the gas. My car flew
to 90 MPH in no-time and I shifted into 4th. I kept my
eye way ahead of me for state-police and finally shifted
to 5th gear. The 300ZXTT was right up my butt, when I
realized I nailed the electronically limited maximum speed
around 135MPH. The feeling of going that fast was
axhilarating and I was impressed with how fast I reached
max speed so quickly. My only worry is the next time
I go to the dealer for 15k service, will they see that I
reached max-speed on the computer? Are they going
to tag me as some wanna-be Schumacher? I don't drive
my car like that barely at all... just when the time comes
that some rice-boy wants to challenge me... (I'm not
saying the 300ZX was rice - it actually looked stock) and
I happen to have a lot of respect for the 300ZX.
Will getting a Garret (or other) chip solve my problems?

Any other ideas?
