Re: After-market CD Changers

Thanks to everyone who gave their input on this subject.
Last week I ordered the Panasonic CXDP-601 changer and
VWPAN97 cable from Crutchfield, total cost with shipping
~ $295.

I then had a local car audio place install it for $20!

They did a great job, it's mounted under the rear shelf.
It's my first changer and I love it. I'm amazed that it never
skips even when I cross railroad tracks. That's better than
my living room where the kids often cause CDs to skip.

Anyhow to recap, the changer went into a '98 GLX with Bose system.
