Hello all,

Seeing that there appeared to be a lack of a listserver for general
conversation about VW cars, I went ahead and made one.  It's called
drivers-wanted, and it's dedicated to people discussing all things
watercooled-VW.  Sure, there's the newsgroup ... but sometimes people
don't want to deal with newsgroups.

Here's the vital info:

Drivers-wanted, the VW Discussion List: This mailing list is dedicated
to watercooled Volkswagen owners getting together and sharing ideas,
comments, help, and more. It's very free flowing, and basically the only
thing that will not be tolerated is spam. 

Point of Information: watercooled means that comments on the Passat,
Jetta, EuroVan, New Beetle, Golf, Rabbit, Fox, and basically any VW other
than the old Bettle are fair game. 

To susbscribe to the Drivers Wanted list send any message to 
drivers-wanted-on@wso.williams.edu 

Once you subscribe, you can send mail to the list at
drivers-wanted@wso.williams.edu

There is a digest option, described in the welcome message you will
receive when you subscribe..

I hope you all consider subscribing, as well as telling your VW-driving
friends about the list.  Since there's no one on it right now, traffic is
fairly low. :)  Lets get a community going!
