Hello,
What is a T-body? What does this person mean by "modify the airbox for
$0
and how can this be done? Will it shift better if the shifter is cut down?
How much should I cut the shifter down?
Thanks,
Dan

The T-body (throttle body) is what allows air into the engine. The stock
t-body has small ramps in them. i just took a file/dremmel and ground the
ramps out. no noticeable power, but a lot better throttle response. to
modify the airbox, remove the snorkel from the top of the airbox, also
remove the mesh "snow screen" and add a K&N drop in filter. this will
increase air flow into the engine. the cut down shifter "feels better than
stock, alot more solid. the shift is shortened somewhat. i cut 2.5" off
mine and replaced the knob with an aluminum knob.
