Dumb Asses at VW!  They say Drivers wanted !!! then they pull shit like
this to try and weed out "trouble makers",  they will use anything as an
excuse (redline) to void the warranty, to save them money - making the
customer pay for their shitty workmanship flaws.  They must figure that
people who mod their cars have the most warranty claims, so VOID their
warrantys!!

What's next, "It was your MOMO shifter knob that caused your syncros to
wear sir...here's your 3k bill"

As Uwe would say , how would they plan on proving that redline _was_ the
cause of the faliure, when there are so many cases of shitty synchros  with
the stock stuff???

considering running Redline Trannie oil.  They (VW) are looking for this
and if you are running it and blow your trannie (sychros or anything) they
can (and will) void your warranty.  Just thought I would let you all know.
And yes, this comes from someone high up at vw.  Has to do with the
construction of the synchros etc.
