Hi Douglas,

This question gets asked a lot, mainly because the confusion it causes when
VW makes a change in the middle of a model year. I myself have a 97 GLX, and
it was super easy to add a CD changer. 98's are a different story. You
should be able to find some info at the GTI-VR6 list archive, specifically
at this site:
