Tranmision woes

I have a 97 GLX.  In the last couple of month I have had problem when I
shift from fourth or fith.
Every once in awhile 1 out of 4 times when going into second or first it
will not go in gear.  It feels
as if there is something blocking the stick.  I brought it in and the
dealer "resyncronized the gears".
This helped for a day but now its back.  Any ideas?  Has this problem
been seen before.
It sounds like syncros to me but I only have 15000 miles on the car.
