Good Dealer Story - con't

Hey folks,

I wrote a week ago about how well I was treated when bringing
in my GLX for its first service. The dealer corrected everything
we had a problem with except the circular marks on the windows.
Before replacing all the glass, they wanted their detailer to
try and remove the marks...but alas he was on holidays.

Today we brought it back to have the delear's detailer attempt
to remove the circular marks on the windows. I tried myself
with no luck. We thought while the car was there, I'd pay to have
the guy buff out a scratch on the driver's door (damn parking lots).

The detailer informed us, as I suspected, that the circlular marks
are left over from the fabrication process at the factory. Normally
they are removed before delivery to the dealer. He said it was no
problem to remove with his bag 'o tricks and we left the car with him.

We returned about an hour later after running some errands to find our
car waiting. The marks had been removed, the scratch buffed out of the
drivers door and the car washed - not quite the detail job that I do
but geeez they only had the car for an hour!

When we asked what the buff job cost, the most excellent service rep
Shannon replied "no charge, just mention to people that we have good
service"!!!!

Damn....either I'm extremely lucky or this dealer rocks!!!

Again, for those in Vancouver BC, try Westminster Volkswagen. You will
not be disappointed.

Cheers,

Jeff Newton
