I had mine installed this way. But I don't have the BOSE system, so I don't
know how much my experience applies.

Regardless, however, you can get the changer installed under the rear deck
inside the trunk. If I were you, I'd put the changer on the left hand
(driver's) side of the deck because if you ever fold down your 60/40 rear
seats, you will always get the best clearance if you only want to fold down
the 60 portion of the rear seat. This means that for items that are three
inches taller than would fit under the CD changer, they will fit just fine
to the right of the changer, and into the 60 portion of the folded down
rear seats.

Maybe this is too analytical, but I figured it's better where it is should
I ever need the extra 3" clearance that the changer would block.
