RE: my first dealer visit

well, it's now been one week since my
first dealer visit after noticing globs of
oil around the freeze plug. what the
service dept at charle maund VW did
was to thoroughly clean the area and
told me to keep an eye on it for one
week's time.

well, i'm glad to say i haven't seen even
the slightest trace of oil anywhere in the
area. i've been checking it about every
other day- as well as the rest of the
engine and there are NO fluids anywhere
to be found (leaking.)
thanks for all your input. i'm just glad to
say there are no problems, just a few
drops of oil not cleaned up by the factory.
