Sway bar bracket moved over

I was rocking my car back and forth last night, to check for freshness, and
heard a bad knocking sound.  Upon further inspection, I found that one of the
brackets that holds my rear sway bar on had slid all the way to the other side,
and the bar was bumping the torsion beam.  Has this happened to anyone else?
The bracket seemed tight, and the bushing was still there, it had just slid all
the way over.  BTW, the bar is NS.
