      My God Awfuls didn't last that long because a New York pothole 
took care of them after about 20k miles.  

      The Mintex Redbox pads are definitely a good choice.  My stock 
pads have lasted 46k mi. so far, and I can't wait for them to wear out 
so that I can finally get the Redbox.  The stock pads make so much damn 
brake dust!
