foglight removal

All-
I had been trying all weekend to remove my foglights (the stock ones), to no
avail. I'm talking the whole assembly, not the bulbs. Them bolts are mean.
Anyone have any pointers on this? I was able remove the bottom bolt (from
the front), but even that took a lot of effort. The top bolt is near
impossible, thanks to the nut holding it on the backside. There's no way to
reach it.
ANY help would be MUCH appreciated. And in case you're wondering, I'm going
about installing the Kamei air intakes/
