FYI.....
in regards to the  article in this test...the autothority chip was the first chip tested...WHEN THE CAR WAS COLD...therefore you would naturally get the best results...as the test goes on, you can basically see that the chips perform more less like a stock chip...the reason being is that the car was getting hotter and hotter..  that test was a little off due to the way the same car was used.... as the testing went on the car kept getting hotter(showing smaller gains)....and you must run a chip in obd2 cars for hours before you can get an accurate reading...which was not done in this test..
this next comment may start a lot of fire, BUT all the chips basically have the same hp.  some of the best chips actually have an average of 2-3 hp less, but dramatically have improved in torque and ignition maps, so it seems like the chip has more hp...  a chip does not control throttle response, it only reprograms the fuel and ignition maps....more fuel down low..better response...
ok..you may now fire away..btw..the autothority chip does kick butt..
