Chip and Brake Pad Advice

Well the time has come for me to make my first "major" upgrade to my
car. I am going to do the two things.
1. Chip
2. New Front Pads
I am just looking for recommendations. Currently the two I am
considering are the Q-Chip from Autotech and the Mintex Pads. If any of
you have good/bad experiences with these let me know...plus if you have
a great or terrible experience with another let me know. Thanks!
