Yes your BOSE in your GLX has the holes.. In the corners those tabs pop off..

I'll think I'll park my car at the fire station and visit it once a month or
something.  I really haven't looked at the slots (or holes) to remove the
radio.  I assumed that they all were the same.  My deceased Corrado had the
two holes on each side as does my wife's '97 Golf Trek.  I'll check my '98
GLX's radio.  Somebody posted something about manufacturing some and I've
heard that you can get them at an auto parts store cheaper than a VW
supplier, but if what you are saying, these won't do.

I'll check them out.
