Re: Mequirs

Yah I also forgot to mention that I do also use The Meguairs Vinyl & Plastic
Cleaner and Preservative on my bottom black plastic front, rear and side
trim. However what u want to do from time to time is to totally strip the
trims of the cleaner. It is not good to apply the product over and over
itself. It will trap dirt between the layers and cause the trim to become
possibly brown or discolored. This is the same thing that happens to your
tires. Most people dont pay attention to the tires themselves. They apply
protectant or vinyl cleaner to the tires without removing the old
protectant. The tires may not look shiny when you go to wash your car but
they sill have protectant on them. Car was will not remove the vinyl
protectant. Have any of you wondered why your tires look kinda
brown??????????Use a product that will remove waxes like a car soap, which
is used to remove old wax before you detail a car. Some people also use
dishwashing liquid because it removes grease or wax. Use it only diluted
well in water.
