I think what he did probably made a difference seeing that AutoThority
makes something called a Flotech (as seen on p.41 of the June EC) that
attaches at the end of the MAF.  EIP used the Flotech in the dyno test
of the 3.1L and it made power when accompanied with a highflow manafold
and cams.
