According to Complete Car (a British car mag) these are the most acurate
pictures. They actually got to drive the cars. You may also notice that the
new Vento/Jetta looks a lot like the Coupe CJ concept car that VWoA was
showing at the autoshows this past year. Basically the Coupe CJ is a two
door coupe version of the new Vento/Jetta. This pretty much quashes the
idea of the coupe being a new Corrado.

Wheel base has been increased by 4cm and overall length is 13cm longer.
Four wheel discs are standard on all models as well as 15" wheels. Engines
announced at this time will include a 180hp 2.9 VR6, 150hp 2.3 VR5, and
125hp 1.8 20v (based on Audi plant) and a couple more fuel efficient four
bangers and diesels. It is unknown yet which power plants will make it to
the United States. These cars will probably be released in the United
States at the end of 1998 as 1999 models.
