Folks:

I've got a two month old GLX and twice have had problems getting the key to
turn in the ignition.  Like one of the previous responses, I too thought it was
the steering wheel lock (fat chance).  Fortunately, I got the keyless remote
entry and haven't had to fool around with the door locks.  Chalk another one up
to VW's fantastic quality "German engineering" and Mexican manufacturing.
Ain't NAFTA great!
