I have a little dial on the right hand side of my steering wheel. If it's
set anywhere between 1-5, the heating elements are on- on if it's 98
degrees outside, or on if it's -15 degrees outside.
If it's set at 0, the heating elements are off- off if it's 98 degrees
outside, or off if it's -15 degrees outside.
Outside temperature doesn't make any difference on when the heating
elements come on in my GLX. The dials, however, do.
