I OWN A '97 "GT" WITH ABS THEY ARE HARD TO FIND BUT DEFINATELY WORTH IT AT AN 
EXTRA PRICE.

IF YOU WANT TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCES, GO TO YOUR VW DEALER AND ASK FOR A
SALES BROCHURE. THEY HAVE ONE FOR THE JETTA THAT COVERS ALL MODELS AND IN
THE BACK IT TELLS YOU WHAT COMES STANDARD AND WHAT IS OFFERED AS AN OPTION.
THERE ARE A FEW MISTAKES (unless they corrected them)... LIKE THE GT DOES
NOT HAVE THE ABS BRAKES... EVEN THOUGH IT SAYS IT DOES. SOME OPTIONS ARE NOT
AVAILABLE ON EVERY MODEL GL/GLS/GT.... ONLY ON THE GLX ARE ALL OPTIONS
POSSIBLE, EXCEPT THE VR6 WHICH ONLY COMES WITH A GLX. I DON'T KNOW MUCH
ABOUT THE NEW TREK VERSION OUT EXCEPT THAT THE BICYCLE THAT COMES WITH IT IS
NOT A REASON TO BUY A CAR!!! I AM UNDER THE UNDERSTANDING THAT THE TREK IS A
GT WITH A BIKE RACK!!!  hahahahaha

GO GET THE SALES GUIDE FROM A VW SHOP OR MAYBE VWoA CAN MAIL YOU ONE.
