well, it looks like the a4 jetta will be a late '98
release (read: '99 model)
the passat should be out soon. as for the '98
body styling- i can't really imagine they'd change 
all that much since they're putting so much
energy/hype into the a4's (at least i hope not-
i'm planning on buying a '98 glx in the spring 
unless it's the a4. IMOHO the a4's are ugly.)
