Hmmm... I haven't had any bent wheel problems with my 17" wheels with 45
series tires on my 540i.  For now, I'll keep the 15 inchers on the Jetta.
Until I know I can drive the car beyond the envelope limits (as opposed to
pushing beyond it's limits... anybody can do that), I don't plan on making
any mods.
