Why not Hunter?
Mihm is a restricted free agent. He requires a qualifying offer of 3.8 some
million to keep. It is an idea to expose him. If he gets picked, he becomes an
unrestricted free agent. It is another option. Another team that wanted Mihm
could give the Bobcats a second round pick to select Mihm so he could sign with
them as an unrestricted free agent using any part of their MLE or otherwise.
Blount can opt out, will opt out and so there is no sense in protecting
him....
As for tonight's game (Nets) at halftime, I am having a hard time seeing any
redeeming value in JJ. At least Walter hits an occasional three. JJ, like
Walter, is only in there for his offense, which he has none. He can't play D,
doesn't rebound, can't dribble. He has a sweet looking shot that never goes in.
Why not put Hunter on Rodney Rogers? NJ doesn't have a shotblocker without
Kenyon. This is the perfect game to play Hunter. Wake up, Carroll!....
