RE: 1 question and 1 observation

The Celtics now have a point guard who will give him the ball if he runs
and the insertion of Hunter into the lineup has opened up his game under
the basket. It's tough for any player, Dennis Rodman included, to
constantly have to battle one on three under the basket for rebounds.
With Hunter drawing attention it helps Blount on the rebounding end and
also allows him to release and sprint downcourt on the fast break
because he knows there is another man securing rebounds. And Blount has
got to be one of the best end to end big men in the game. Mihm has that
potential as well. In any event, it's all about synergy.

I hope Ainge wants to keep this guy. He will be deadly on a fast
breaking club and his improvement over the past several seasons clearly
shows he works his tail off to get better. When you find guys that work
like that and that have better than average athleticism and offensive
skills, you have to hold onto them.

Mark Blount. Did he finally get over his Obie fixation and decide to
play?
Or is he still upset at the C's and figures since he is leaving that he
should go all out for the last 20 games and try and get a big contract?

About the post game show... Dickerson and Felger. Could it be any
worse?
It's like they looked for the 2 guys who knew as little as possible and
hired them. Felger is trying to say if they make the playoffs they can
still
get the 11,12,or 13 pick. Dickerson says if they miss the playoffs they
might get the 5 pick, but if they make the playoffs they get the 14
pick, so
it doesn't matter because there is not that much difference between 5
and
14. Then Dickerson says that Blount has been terrific for 3 straight
months.
What? He's been average until Hunter got into the lineup and freed him
up
for all the numbers he's getting.

It's just a pet peeve of mine that they can't find 2 guys to do the
postgame
show who at least know a little bit about basketball.
