Re: Ouch

Pierce has been exposed no doubt. Toine made him look good but Pierce had
and used his own talent well. The team desperately needs ball handlers. They
will come but not this season. James nor Jiri is the answer at point. They
are 2 guards. Pierce has not handled the changes well at all. He is not
adapting and taking more time to figure out who he is. The mistakes are
brutal including passing, dribbling and spending too much time getting up
from off balance falls. Teams are over playing us now and really hugging us
close. Why not it works. NY is not a bad team, and they showed how to pick
the bones of a worse one last nite. It's like we get mugged every time down
court.

This will all change next season when the expectations of changes take
place. Pierce will get back to normal then. Now he should concentrate on
just being a good player on a bad team. There will likely be more games like
this. Teams are turning the corner and have smoothed out their problems.
Our's are just beginning to show. There is enough talent here, just one
point guard and a big man and our fortunes will turn on a dime. I like the
future but dread tonite in Indy.
