57M is the lux tax threshold, reportedly.  Their cap room next season won't be affected at all since they did not receive additional salaries (Googs 11.7M versus Keon's 5.0 and the other guy receving .3M).  Two number 1's are too much I agree, but Phoenix is known for dumping salaries and picks just to avoid the lux tax (refer to Rogers, Delk, Cliffy and Outlaw trades).
 
 
 
 
but don't they sacrifice some of their capspace for this summer? By my understanding $59 wont be lux tax land. and is not paying the luxury tax worth 2 #1s? it just seems strange
