So Ainge Wants A Tall Veteran PG At A Resonable Price

That's what he said in his Celtics Roadmap chat.and his interest in
the much discussed Brent Barry highlights this focus.

Here are a few candidates:

Sarunas Jasikevicius - Lithauanian Jason Kidd type currently playing for Maccabi in
Israel and the Euro League.

Marko Jaric - Has promise, may be available. Clipps in Kobe savings mode.
Other PG Dooling is very available.

Brent Barry - 'Nuff said.

Jamal Crawford - He's available, but not cheap. Needs a system and a position.

Jalen Rose - Toronto will hold on to him for now.

Alvin Williams - Same as Rose.

Eric Snow - He's also available and a better defender/lesser shooter than Barry.
Philly needs Big Men help.

John Salmons - Appears to be Snow's replacement.

Milos Vujanic - Phoenix PG of the future. Recently had 24 against Maccabi
and Jasekivicius.

Ronald Murray - Needs work on defense. Likely Seattle starter replacing
free agent Barry next season.

Antonio Daniels - Decent back-up; cheap FA signing.

Zoran Planinic - Future promise; they seem soured on him in Jersey.

Frank Williams - Hard to tell, but Knicks aren't keeping him.

Steve Blake - Mean Gene would rejoice.

Pepe Metz Sanchez - He's playing in Europe.

Jeff McInnis - Ainge likes him; cheap FA signing.

Leandrinho Barbosa - More of a combo/change of pace guard with potential.
Suns holding on to him for now.

And the draft. Those who could function as a Big PG:
Alexander Sasha Vujacic
Cristian Drejer
Marcus Moore
Shaun Livingston
Jarret Jack
Devin Harris
Perhaps even Alexander Chiraev.
