You are right . And yet this guy actually gets paid to hand down his 
basketball knowledge to the masses?
The same with the New York Times. Their writer was mystified by the 
trade from Boston's perspective , and didn't bother to  delve into any 
of the possibly mitigating circumstances. You can't look at a trade 
these days from the player vs player angle like the old days.. The Times 
article was shallow and seemingly phoned in as a quickie. Sloppy work 
from a paper that owns the Boston Globe as well.
