Re: NBA Pass Cable

Each year, NBA League pass has shown whatever preseason games are broadcast
as a freebie to subscribers, though they NEVER officially announce
it. That's how I saw last night's game between Cleveland and Detroit. I
checked my schedule, and the Pass IS broadcasting tonight's Celtics'
game--as is FSNE. Since I dumped Cox Cable over the summer, I can no
longer state with absolute certainty that the CABLE COMPANIES will allow
the broadcast to go through (remember, for example, that Cox cable refused
to show the NBAtv freebie during the playoffs last season), but they did so
every other season when I had cable, just as they do on DirecTV now.

If, by some quirk, you don';t get the game where you are, I remind one and
all that I'll be watching and taping tonight's game with a CBW review to
follow. (Just be nice, it's MY preseason, too... :>)) )
