Finding A Trading Partner For Battie

In-and-beyond the context of Chad Ford's trade parameters for a Battie deal: expiring
contract(s) and a draft pick(s), and adding in an actually need for Battie,
leads one to formulate a possible relocation locus.

Teams Not Very Likely To Want Battie:

Atlanta - No interest.
Chicago - No expiring contracts of worth.
Cleveland - No need.
Dallas - A need, but no expiring contracts of worth.
Detroit - No need.
Golden State - No need.
Houston - No expiring contracts of worth.
Indiana - No expiring contracts of worth.
LA Clippers - No need.
Miami - No interest.
Minnesota - No expiring contracts of worth.
New Jersey - No interest.
New York: No interest.
Sacramento - No interest.
Washington - No interest.

Possibilities:

Denver - Jon Barry expires and you never know about Camby; a couple of
Nuggets twos aren't bad. Or Rodney White and Barry for Battie.

Lakers - Wouldn't that be ironic.

Memphis - Expiring Person contract and the already rumoured Battier deal.

Milwaukee - Expiring Kukoc contract and center help needed.

New Orleans - Stacey Augmon and Bryce Drew are there for the taking.

Orlando - Really need a center; Gordon Gricek expires.

Phoenix - White iffy, Gugliotta expires: Battie/Mills for Googs.

Portland - Center help; Is Rasheed still available?

San Antonio - Frontcourt insurance; Mercer available for Battie/Brown?

Seattle - Definite need for another frontcourt defender; Brent Barry & James
on the block?

Toronto - Frontcourt depth; Curry expires.

Utah - Center depth; Clark expires; Battie/Brown/1st for Clark & Pavlovic.
