Re: direct tV cost question

What with Dish Network now offering the same NBA package, though I have no
clue what the NBA package cost runs, the Dish Network system has always been
more cost effective to purchase and install than Direct. Like truly free to
buy and install, only $25 for basic service, guaranteed for something like 2
years, with locals costing about $5 more.

More critically for those vidiots out there like me, the Dish Network DVR or
Tivo like system is much more user friendly, cheaper to buy up front, bigger
HD, more reliable than the Direct Tivo system, and most importantly they
don't charge the $12 monthly fee for the DVR service unlike Tivo.

The only known benefit with Direct today is that they still have the
exclusive deal with the NFL. Dish also has the NAACF and NHL deals and will
have the NBC Olympics for those so inclined.

So for those looking more critically at the NBA Pass the Dish Network system
is a good option. I have much more info on the Dish including a referral
system program that benefits the newby and the current owner.

Thanks and Go Celtics,
Greg
