Celts fans KIND OF LIKE Lakers fans?!?! I sure hope not!

Dan, I think that Hubie is one of the most underrated coaches ever. I will
never forget that he took Bernard King and a bunch of nobodies to within 12
minutes of defeating a team of destiny in a 7 game series - the '84 C's

Kim, nice work on the poll and thanks. No need to mention me. I just thought
it would be fun and more over the season would be great. I voted. While I love
Vin and admire his comeback, I think he should go. Who knows how much damage
he did to his body? He has a nice chip on his shoulder now but let's see how
he holds up at the end of this season. And that contract! Remember how
everyone here last season was praying we could trade him for dead contracts? I
think he could be showcased here and we could get something good. Which brings
me to my next point.

My opening night giddiness was brought crashing back at the end of the Hornets
game. Now that we only have one star (wouldn't most teams kill for a Paul
Pierce?), you could see last night that everyone was double and triple teaming
Paul at crunch time. Well, everyone except Grady Little, but that's another
story. Overplaying him. When you have one star, one go to, you are not going
far, especially in the playoffs. Did you see Paul trying to swing the ball?
Where did it go? To WAl-tuh, to Banks, to Raef? That is who is filling
Twoine's shoes? Sorry guys, unless the C's get another respectable
scorer/finisher, then the C's will lose all or most of the close games. I am
all for improving the team and Twoine needed to go but now we need another
scorer. EWill and Wal-tuh don't cut it. So, where am I going with all of
this?

Don't know but last night exposed some down the road problems for the C's and
I predict a step (or two) back for our team this year. Put me down for a 40-42
season. Either missing the playoffs or smoked if they get it. Just my .02. As
always (I hope I am wrong).

Peace
