Root for the Mavs and Nets

I live in the Dallas/Ft Worth Metroplex and have consistently rooted against 
the Mavs because I hated Nash, Cuban, Bradley and Najara (nothing personal, 
just they can be irritating). Even though I would have to live with all these 
losers who don't know anything about basketball telling me how great the Mavs 
are, I am now rooting FOR the Mavs. 

Reasons? They play the game they way I love it to be played, uptempo, 
changing strategys, whatever it takes. I love the Foul-a-Bowen. Also, you 
score and they ram in right down your throat in transistion. I also want an 
owner rewarded for doing whatever it takes to win, the ultimate anti-Gaston, 
the way Red used to do it. 

I hate the dump it in down low, kick it out for the open three style of 
basketball that the Spurs/Lakers play. That game is boring and makes the 
Bowens, Fischers, Shaws, Horrys, Stephan Jacksons seem a lot better than they 
really are and the stars of the games. Boring.

The league tends to follow style of the champions. Root  for the Mavs and the 
Nets. Maybe we can get this league (and hopefully the Cs) turned around to 
exciting basketball every night....
